What Cam system does my Bow use?
- Single Cam - Uses one Cam on the bottom and an Idle wheel on the top.
- Binary Cam - Uses two symmetrical cams, linked directly to each other rather than anchoring to the limbs.
- Twin Cam - Uses two symmetrical cams, anchoring to the limbs with a Y (buss) cable.
- Hybrid Cam - Uses two asymmetrically shaped cams, with one anchored to the limb and the other anchored to the cam. Also referred to as a cam-and-a-half system
What are some common questions or worries customers have about custom bow strings before buying?
How many twists can I add or remove when tuning my bow? we recommend adding or removing no more then 3 complete twists, this is to prevent the serving loosening and causing serving separation.
Are there any tips or important things when looking after bow strings?
Always remove the old wax off the string before applying fresh string wax. This prevents a build-up of old wax and dirt, only apply or remove wax in the one direction.
